The
Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing media relations
including collecting stories/news articles by building relationships with
tribal programs/departments.? Manage the
Tribe?s presence on the web and through social media networks and will
participate in development of strategic communications plans.? The broad purpose of this position is to
enhance the Tribe?s image and visibility at the local, state, regional, and
national levels and to assist in delivering tribal material to its various
constituencies (e.g. tribal members, general public, employees, and other
governments).? MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor?s
Degree from an accredited University in the field of Communications, Education,
Media, or Journalism, or an Associate?s degree with at least two (2) years of
experience in the media relations, communications and/or journalism field. ?Salary $14.44-$21.68. Closes December 19, 2012.?
