Customer service expert Dennis Snow will be a 2012 BWF speaker Nov. 1 in Conn.

Twenty years with the Walt Disney World Company helped Dennis Snow hone his expert customer service abilities. Snow will be the featured 9:30 a.m. speaker, as well as an afternoon workshop presenter, during the 30th annual 2012 Business Women?s Forum (BWF?) November 1st in Hartford, Connecticut. Elizabeth Vargas, award-winning anchor of ABC-TV?s ?20/20? newsmagazine, and Chris Dailey, UCONN Women?s Basketball Associate Head Coach, will also be featured speakers at the much-anticipated conference. ?Winning Strategies for Business Professionals? is the inspiring 2012 theme for Connecticut?s largest and longest-running full-day annual conference of speakers and workshops for women.

Celebrating 30 years of notable success, the Business Women's Forum (BWF) (www.2012bwf.com) is a program of the non-profit Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Foundation in Waterbury, Conn. The thriving organization is led by female executives dedicated to the professional and personal growth of working women. The BWF is sponsored annually by the U.S. Small Business Administration and supported by numerous Connecticut-based companies.

?The BWF?, stated Lynn Ward, president and CEO of the Waterbury Regional Chamber, and a BFW director, stated, ?More than 700 business people from throughout New England are anticipated to attend the 2012 BWF. The full day of three featured speakers, plus eight professional development workshops and networking will all be held at the Connecticut Convention Center at 100 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Ward continued, ?We asked Mr. Snow to be a featured speaker because he has decades of international experience as a worldwide customer service expert, speaker and trainer. He is author of Unleashing Excellence: The Complete Guide to Ultimate Customer Service, and ?Lessons From the Mouse: A Guide for Applying Disney World?s Secrets of Success to Your Organization, Your Career, and Your Life.? For over 20 years, Mr. Snow honed his abilities with the world-class, service-driven organization where he launched a division of the Disney Institute responsible for world-wide consulting with such leading companies as ExxonMobil, AT&T, and Coca Cola. He also spent several years with the Disney University teaching corporate philosophy and business practices. Mr. Snow coordinated the universally-recognized benchmark in corporate training, the Disney Traditions program. In his last year with Walt Disney World, Mr. Snow?s leadership performance was ranked in the top 3% of the company?s leadership team. Currently he helps organizations achieve goals related to customer service, employee development and leadership.?

During the past 29 years, the mission of the non-profit BWF has been the continual commitment to equality of opportunity and advancement for women in business. To date, the BWF has generated more than $125,000 in scholarship funds for female Post University students to pursue a business education. ?Since its inception 29 years ago,? Ward explained, ?the BWF has provided an unprecedented number of attendees with access to phenomenal speakers, networking opportunities and diverse training during the course of one day. Each year, the BWF has featured such prominent, high-profile keynote speakers as Paula Abdul, Robin Roberts, Goldie Hawn, Jamie Lee Curtis, Suze Orman, Jane Seymour, Chris Madden, Ann Curry, Jack Ford, and Faith Popcorn.?

Elizabeth Vargas, internationally-acclaimed news correspondent and co-anchor of ABC-TV?s ?20/20? newsmagazine, will be the keynote luncheon speaker at the 2012 BWF. An award-winning anchor and correspondent, Ms. Vargas previously anchored ?World News Tonight Sunday?, occasionally anchored ?Good Morning America?, and was a correspondent for ?20/20? and ?Primetime Thursday?, and was a correspondent and anchor for ?Dateline NBC? and ?The Today Show?. Vargas has traveled the world covering breaking news stories, reporting in-depth investigations, and conducting newsmaker interviews, and covering internationally-impactful news stories including the deaths of President Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy, Jr.

Chris Dailey, UCONN Women?s Basketball Associate Head Coach, the 2012 BWF?s morning speaker, completed her 27th season in 2012. Revered across the U.S., Dailey is known to have been instrumental in teaming with the nationally award-winning UCONN Basketball Head Coach Geno Auriemma to build UCONN into an unquestioned national power. Dailey is the coordinator of the university?s notably successful recruiting efforts and expanding UCONN?s recruiting base to players joining the program from 29 United States, the District of Columbia plus 6 foreign countries. During the last several years, she has been honorary chair to Food Allergy Network, March of Dimes-Women in Sports Celebration, Camp Courant and the Manchester Area Conference of Churches.

The November 1st 2012 BWF will also feature workshops led by accomplished professional business people and trainers on the topics of leadership, employee engagement, sales, marketing and social media, customer service and customer relations and more. The full-day conference will include an opening ?breakfast, keynote address luncheon, and a closing networking wine and cheese reception MC?d by Channel 3 WFSB-TV?s popular Scott Haney with raffle and door prizes plus a Grand Prize of a 4-day, 3-night complimentary stay for two at the El Dorado Royale in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
